Mending performed within the built environment has been created within a conversation with local students, artists collectives and universities abroad. I do not take full credit for these mending's as they are a part of a different culture than my own. Although these conversations have some commonalities, the cultures in Albania, Romania, and India have different fractures that I cannot fully understand. However, I am able to offer support and a different perspective when we mended them. Out of respect, these mendings were temporary as they are a symbol of care and support and not by any means a directive of what a Westerner claims possession over.
